Alum - Enquye Negash
Enquye Negash is now a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. Enqu is interested in understanding the paleoenvironmental context of human evolution. She conducts fieldwork in national parks and fossil bearing sites in eastern Africa. Her current research focuses on studying vegetation structure in modern African ecosystems using geochemical, paleobotanical and quantitative methods. The aim of her research is to apply the knowledge garnered from modern ecosystem to the fossil record to make accurate paleoenvironmental reconstructions.
